We are looking for a talented & passionate individual to help lead our bar crew at Albert's Schloss! Our bar team has a passion for providing world class guest experiences and creating beautiful drinks - they're a lively, energetic and sociable bunch, so we need our new Bar Manager to be the same!

Who we need...

This is a rare and unique opportunity for a passionate and inspiring bar manager, to lead one of Manchester's busiest venues. Albert's Schloss is celebrated for our six iconic copper Pilsner tanks, quirky live entertainment and dancing on the benches all night long. Having a bar manager who is obsessed with developing, growing and leading their team is key to our success. 

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in building an energised and engaged team
• Has a real authentic desire to develop from within
• Fiercely independent and who knows their Helles from their IPAs
• Passionate about the hospitality industry 
• Experience in a busy, fast paced bar 
• A proper grafter who takes pride in their work
• All the usual financial stuff… (we can teach all of that for the right person)

Experience in the above is ideal, but passion is everything!

Mission Mars is the team behind venues such as Albert's Schloss, Albert Hall and Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza. Albert's Schloss was built in 2015 and has since become a venue of choice by may, not only in the North West, but the UK. In 2020 we placed in the Sunday Times, Best Companies to Work For! Who you'll be doing...

Albert's Schloss is a 70-80% wet lead bier palace, accomplishing record sales of up to 400K (net) per week and selling over 18,000 pints of Pilsner Urquell a month. Our bar team compromises of up to 30 bartenders and bar support team members with our Bar Manager leading from the front. You'll be responsible for everything from paving the development for our bar team on to specialists and beyond, curating our cocktail liste, discovering new rotational beers and supporting the manufacturing of our in haus schnapps!
