Albert's Schloss Liverpool is looking for a motivated & experienced Sales Manager to join our exciting site in Liverpool. Part of the Mission Mars Group, we are a multi-concept hospitality business operating Albert’s Schloss - in Manchester, Birmingham, and London. As well as, Albert’s Schenke, Rudy’s Pizza and Albert Hall.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Target Tracking: Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the venue sales teams
  • Team Management: Assessing the venue teams strengths and weaknesses to grow and develop each person
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic seasonal sales plans that expand the venue’s customer base and increase sales via both reactive and proactive streams
  • Big Black Book: Establishing strong relationships with key personnel in corporate account list for that venue’s location and continually building on list alongside BDM
  • Location Marketing: Developing and implementing new sales initiatives and strategies specific to that venue’s location. Including the creation of yearly calendar of city events and strategies on how to link to AS
  • FAM trips: Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients via continuous contact and on site entertaining
  • Showcases: Along side the venue sales team, host seasonal corporate showcases
  • Networking: Attend local networking events to build relationships with local corporate accounts
  • Quoting: Manage all large / corporate 50 pax plus incoming enquiry (non-agency)
  • Enquiry Management: Chase corporate and 50 pax plus open enquiries to push conversion
  • Event Management: Ensure smooth handover of events to operations team and meet corporate clients on arrival


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience and track record in a Sales Role within a large, fast paced hospitality venue/brand
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing a successful sales teams
  • Proven Proactive Sales driver with strong contacts and networking background.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the Liverpool hospitality market
  • A deep understanding of the sector: The Importance of Prebooked Sales, and Christmas and Occasions.
  • Experience in influencing and implementing a sales strategy in a multi-site/ multi-identity hospitality or leisure business.
  • Experience working with Corporates/ Third parties and high net worth individuals.
  • Use of your commercial, analytical, and data-driven mind-set to make key decisions to drive the sales proposition forward.
  • Strong guest-focused background with the ability to identify guest wants and needs.
  • Be an exceptional negotiator and strong communicator who can link well with all levels of stakeholders, suppliers, and accounts.
  • An innovative self-starter who is highly ambitious to succeed and develop within a growing business.
