Albert’s Schloss resides in the heart of London on Shaftesbury Avenue, taking over the former Rainforest Café site. Influenced by our travels across Alpine Europe; expect a Bavarian Bier Palace, Alpine-themed Cook Haus, and seven days of showtime.

The stunning 18,000 square foot space in the heart of the West End will be our fourth Albert’s Schloss in the UK, part of the Mission Mars Group. With four bars measuring over 45 metres in length, 500 covers for Cook Haus dining, in Haus Bakery, Ludwigs Tavern and an impressive stage that will offer totally unique entertainment.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Albert's Schloss London. This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards of guest experience, with a strong emphasis on utilising data to enhance and personalize the guest journey. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in both bar and restaurant management within fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Guest Experience: Champion the guest experience, ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile. Implement and monitor service standards, leading by example to inspire the team.

· Data-Driven Insights: Utilise guest experience data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and actionable insights. Develop and implement strategies based on this data to enhance guest satisfaction.

· Operational Management: Assist in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining health and safety standards.

· Team Leadership: Support the Guest Experience Manager in leading, training, and developing the team. Foster a positive, energetic work environment that encourages team collaboration and growth.

· Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance, assist in budgeting, and help achieve revenue and profitability targets.


· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of assistant management experience in a bar and restaurant setting, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

· Guest-Centric: Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a knack for understanding and anticipating guest needs.

· Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing guest experience data and using insights to drive improvements.

· Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

· Operational Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including health and safety regulations, inventory management, and financial acumen.

· Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and stakeholders.

· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency.
