People / HR Support Assistant

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: Full time £25,000 + up to 30% bonus

We are extremely passionate about our people, and we have an exciting opportunity for a People Support Assistant to join our amazing People team.

As People Support Assistant you will be based at our vibrant Ground Control (HQ) in Manchester City Centre with some flexibility to work from home and an opportunity to occasionally travel to our venues. You will work closely with our People Support Manager and the wider People team to deliver world class support to our managers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

Administration tasks
People / HR system tasks
Filing and auditing
Responding to queries from managers and colleagues
Supporting on co-ordination and executing our People & Culture events
Supporting with recruitment for new openings
Assisting on key people projects
Supporting with logistics for our Training Academy
Supporting with travel and hotel bookings

What we are looking for:

A desire to develop your career in a HR / People role
Highly organised and good time management
Good attention to detail
Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can-do attitude, self-motivated, and uses initiative
Positive and friendly personality
Team player – willing to help and support the team
